5 steps to ensure a smooth morning

Here is our nightly routine to ensure a smooth morning:)

the evening tidy

  1. Tidy the family space: Pile up the items that need to go to other rooms in the house. You can corral them in a pretty basket if you like. The kids take their books, toys, etc. with them to their rooms to put away (or to put on their floor, deep sigh).

  2. Wash, dry and put away dinner dishes

  3. Prep the coffee for the morning

  4. Wipe down counters, table and sink

  5. Start dishwasher

Voila! When you wake up you can start the day with a clean space and a clear mind (and hot coffee).
